Rukan Keisari is a newly renovated and atmospheric log cabin in the peaceful Keisarivaara area, close to Ruka’s amenities.
The spacious living room, cosy fireplace and private sauna invite you to relax after a day outdoors. The scent of the natural log walls creates a warm cabin atmosphere.
Two bedrooms and two spacious lofts provide accommodation for up to ten guests – also suitable for two families travelling together.

About the cabin
The cabin
The cabin is built from sturdy, naturally seasoned pine logs. The kitchen and flooring were renovated in summer 2026. The ground floor covers 93 m² and includes two bedrooms, a spacious living room, a shower room and a sauna. Upstairs, there are two generously sized sleeping lofts with low ceilings. The high ceiling in the living room creates an airy atmosphere, with plenty of space for larger groups to spend time together. To help keep the cabin suitable for guests with allergies, pets are not permitted.
Sleeping arrangements
There is sleeping space for ten adults. Both downstairs bedrooms have a 160 cm double bed. One of these can be separated into two 80 cm single beds if needed. There are also two sleeping lofts, each with two 80 cm single beds. Both lofts have child safety gates. In addition, the living room has a sofa bed for two.
Sauna
The sauna has an always-ready heater, so you can enjoy its wonderfully soft, humid heat straight after a day of cross-country skiing or hitting the slopes.
Facilities
The cabin has everything you need for a great holiday, including free Wi-Fi, an air-source heat pump with cooling, a fireplace and firewood, a fully equipped kitchen with crockery, a washing machine, a drying cabinet, a large TV with a high-quality sound system and a PlayStation.
For the youngest guests, the cabin provides a travel cot, a high chair and a potty.
Parking
There is plenty of parking space in the yard, as well as a carport and a lockable storage room for bicycles, skis and other equipment.
Unfortunately, charging electric or hybrid vehicles is not permitted at the cabin yet. Charging facilities will be added later.

Cleaning and bed linen are available by separate request.

The cabin is located in the peaceful Keisarivaara area, while still being close to the slopes, outdoor trails and local services.
